Our Commitment to Cutting-Edge Technology

Pioneer Electric has installed a new state-of-the-art Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system that enables real-time monitoring by Pioneer Electric's system. Since 2005, all 18 Pioneer Electric-owned substations have been connected and automated via the SCADA system which digitally tracks system performance as well as locates and alerts technicians of outages and emergencies in real-time. This means better information, faster response times and fewer power interruptions.

This ambitious and comprehensive project is a joint effort with Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, Pioneer Electric's power supply partner. We will take advantage of Sunflower's communications and software expertise to ensure a smooth and effective system implementation, as well as count on their support for equipment installation.
